Rick Santorum: “We Will Never Have The Elite, Smart People On Our Side”

Paul O'Flaherty

Rick Santorum has a rather interesting message for attendees of the “Values Voter Summit” on Saturday, and the fact that they applauded his message is frighteningly telling.

“We will never have the media on our side, ever, in this country. We will never have the elite, smart people on our side, because they believe they should have the power to tell you what to do. So our Colleges and Universities – they’re not going to be on our side”

“The basic premise of America and American values will always be sustained through two institutions — the church and the family,”

Anyone seen the movie Idiocracy? Yup, smart people are bad!

Akin is proof that the GOP ( Grand Old Pterodactyls ) will never have ” elite, smart people ” as members. His own party is basically abandoning him, & he’s still sticking by his guns, not backing down, even though his comments about the female reproductive system ” closing down ” during / after rape are the height of idiocy & ignorance.

Santorum and Pat Robertson should start their own TV show! I would watch it! I need a good laugh every now and then.

OUCH!! another brain haemorrhage…. Usually I’d laugh this kinda stuff off, but fuck, it’s depressing knowing people like this [still] serve as senators and powerful political leaders in the united states.

    Anti-intellectualism in America is frightening.
