Saw this a while back. It’s ironic how completely opposite of their so-called ‘christian values’ these vicious pricks are.

It always amazes me how incredibly stupid these so-called “good Christians” sound.  But then they have to be incredibly stupid to believe the simplistic tales of their beloved book. If it is written, it must be so, unless of course it is the truth!

My wife and I recently fell on hard times, which, admittedly, was largely my fault. We moved in with her folks. We found new jobs. We started making progress. We got pregnant.

Then, watching the votes come in on the night of November 8, 2011, King Roy (her father) started trashing the concept of welfare, educational levies, and more less declaring that the value of education was less than the value of his tenaciously-defended ignorance.

I responded. He got angry. I walked away. He kicked down the door, then kicked us out.

This same Roy Miller of Lancaster, OH is a man who declared rather brazenly that only someone who has the same interpretation of the bible as he does can possibly have the same relationship with one Jesus that he does, and that only such a person, therefore, could have any say over how to interpret or understand the bible. Ah, infallibility for those who are already infallible, how circular, how primitive!

So here we are. My wife and I. Pregnant. Homeless. She has an English degree and teacher’s certifications in three areas, and I am a penniless Philosophy major.

He did what he had to do in order to defend his home in the manner in which he wished to, so there is only a very minor, sort-of resigned, grudge. The fact that he’s a nincompoop and a hypocrite is his only problem, one I assume he will think about every night for some time, and every time he passes the stairs at the top of which we used to sleep. He evicted his own pregnant daughter in winter over a “debate” on /levies/.

May his primitively formed God have mercy on his pathetic soul.

Update: We found a place, by the way. Our son is almost here, now, only a matter of days away–she looks ready to pop. He will not know his maternal grandfather. :)
