Raising the question of how complicit is god in the evils perpetrated by man?

Scientists and atheists are nothing compared with those who claim to be ‘close’ with the guy who supposedly is everywhere and everything, but never actually speaks to him.

This has never made any kind of sense to me – if other gods can accept things like chickens as sacrifices, why did the big one decide his own son had to die? I swear he was looking for a reason to kill him off.
