The website on the billboard is real and I’m seriously hoping this apocalyptic looking billboard isn’t a clever Photoshop job.

The website on the billboard is real and I’m seriously hoping this apocalyptic looking billboard isn’t a clever Photoshop job.

Remember the controversial “Slaves Obey Your Masters” billboard that we mentioned last week, which was being erected in Harrisburg, PA. Pennsylvania ?
Well the “Year Of the Bible” billboard was erected and, true to form the religious proved exactly why we trust them to take the superior moral ground (that’s saracsm, in case you missed it).
Less than 24 hours after the billboard was put up, someone made sure its message came down.
It really doesn’t say much about the strength of faith you have in your religion when you can’t stand to have it questioned.

The propaganda machine continues unabated in Birmingham, Alabama in order to pimp “The Grace Effect“, which purportes to educate us about how “The power of one life can reverse the corruption of unbelief”.
I’m going to assume that the “one life” is yet another hint at another human sacrifice to save us all from ourselves. I have not read the book.
…but when he encounters Sasha, a golden-haired orphan girl whose life has been shaped by atheistic theorists, he discovers an unlikely champion for the transforming power of grace.
Through the narrative of Sasha’s redemption, we see the false promises of socialism; the soul-destroying influence of unbelief; and how a society cultivates its own demise when it rejects the ultimate source of grace. We see, in short, the kind of world the atheists would give us: a world without Christianity—cold, pitiless, and graceless.

Just off of exit 6.
