I keep hearing how the Bible is the word of God, and how it is directions for how you should live your life, but if push came to shove and someone truly thought they heard God speaking to them, I don’t know anyone who would actually go that far.

Faith is nearly the exact antithesis of knowledge.  If religion gets anything right, it’s by accident.

Being dead wrong about the origins of the universe and our planet can be considered less intelligent than having no opinion whatsoever on the origins of our universe and our planet.  In that sense, narwhals are more intelligent than fundamentalist Christians.

They may even may even make converts out of “forever alone” nerds with advertising like that.
