Amazing how vague scriptural references to divination and sorcery gets inflated into such a list. I mean, vegetarianism? Video games? Works of fiction? Seriously?
Surprised they didn’t include chanting, praying, speaking in tongues, idolatry, exorcism, faith “healing”…. oh, wait, I forgot. *Those* things are okay

The Fundamentalist Christians have a hate-on for Dungeons & Dragons because it’s based on fantasy fiction — and J.R.R. Tolkien was not only Catholic but he CONVERTED to Catholicism, the religion of his mother. The Protestant Americans don’t like that. Despite their professed hatred of fantasy or historical fiction, they DO love to keep 400-year-old hatreds alive.

Just like C.S. Lewis, he was supposed to have converted from atheism to Christianity, and then to Catholicism close to his death.
This is what makes Christianity so mind numbing. They claim that all you have to do is ask for forgiveness before you die… SO, they live as they wish, trample all over us non-theists who give a shit our whole lives, so they can pretend to live by lists like these but dont, and then look down on us for just being honest and saying, “we do not adhere to your list of bullshit, or your fictitious deity”. But we are the assholes for being honest. They wonder why we stay so pissed off all of the time.
