Whether they comes from the pulpit or a politician, blind obedience to the commands of others is not always the prudent choice. In fact, more often than not, such behavior causes the most harm.

    man derives morality from religious beliefs, hence Dostoyesky’s Crime and Punishment which explores law and morality in post feudal, urban Russian society. According to Kierkegaard’s three stages of existence man, without some sense of spirituality, is stuck in the second stage of life. Plus by definition, atheism, or lack/condemnation of religion is actually a religion in itself.
