Were the 12 apostles not followers of and believers in Christ and his teachings? Because if they were…. A rose by any other name.. etc.. etc…

They were not his only followers and I may be wrong, but I don’t remember anybody storming the hill in an attempt to rescue him.
dear paul, i’m not arguing whom his followers were, i’m just saying, christians aren’t the reason he popped his clogs.
christians didn’t make him kill himself, it’s the built up of sin that made him to incarnate as a human in the first place, so if the t-shirt is to blame anyone, it should be ‘whoever lived before jesus came out of mary’s vag’
Yes, but considering that this particular deity claims all those people as his children that, by default, makes all those he committed hari kari for Christians regardless of what they chose to call themselves. Unless, they’re going to argue with a deity that is
the salient point is, the joke isn’t water tight, it’s open to questions, once questioned it sort of loses the humour
At which point the problem becomes that you’re over analyzing it mate

Christianity did exist before he died. They were followers of Christ and his teachings. It started with his teachings not his death.
