Sherlock Holmes must have really existed, since London really is a city and it appears in the Sherlock Holmes books.

the great flood.to have 26000 feet of extra water cover all of the earth would have made our atmosphere un breathable.let alone the means to gather every animal to one place in a primative society. but i ask  you for just one tiny shred of evidence that god does exist.you cant.

That is so sad that you cant look around and see evidence for God. Look at babies being born. The earth. Our bodies. The sky. Beyond. Everything in the earth.

@ Jwwjd you have the logic of a 3 year old.

As for the image: by this logic we can say Harry Potter is real: can you proof that he’s not? can you proof that everything from the movies are not real?

The funny ting about your reply is that i knew if any of you replied it would only be insulting & offensive… no proof.

I respect other people’s beliefs but, why is the only explanation for earth must be god? science will eventually disproof all of the religious beliefs. That is we don’t destroy ourselves along the way.

          • Gidgee February 12, 2012 at 1:21 am -

Where is *your* proof? Solid, tangible, real proof. Say, for example, that I believe that babies being born, the Earth, our bodies and so on, are being brought about by a man named John. Say I believe this with all my heart because I have faith and I know it to be true. I pose a question to you, asking whether you can prove that John does not exist and has not created all of this. You say that God has created these things. It is true because you believe it is. But with this reasoning, the same holds true for me – John has created these things because *I* believe. You say to me that it cannot be true and ask me why I cannot see that these are created by the Lord, God. I tell you that there is evidence all around for John – who is my Lord – and I wonder why *you* cannot see it. Our arguments are one and the same, however for two different people. You cannot then say that this is proof, as it holds “true” for two different ways of reasoning.

Now I’m done with the example and I’m just talking to you; I’m not saying that you’re wrong, even though many people are, in fact telling you that, but I do think that a lot of people who don’t believe what you believe are sick of being asked to prove that which they *don’t* believe. If I found a new species of animal, I couldn’t just say to everyone “Hey check out this new animal that has five legs, is covered in fur and speaks english” because they would all tell me I was foolish and it couldn’t be true. If I then asked them to prove that it didn’t exist, no one would listen. *I* would have to prove to them that it *did* exist. With real evidence. Not just “I saw it.” or “It’s just real, okay?” because, again, no one would listen.

I respect your belief, but that’s just what it is – *you* belief. It’s not our business what you believe. I’m sure many Athiests just wish Christians, Catholics, lots of religions really, would just let us not believe in peace.

That is so sad that you can’t look around and see evidence for the Flying Spaghetti monster. Plus he has everything in the universe as evidence of his noodley greatness, not just the Earth.

How bout the flood? Or the fact that Cain would’ve had get it on with his mom, all Oedipus style, to get his wife (who also happens to be his sister)? Or the fact that God is supposed to be omnipotent, but had to flood the Earth because he was all pissy and then had to sacrifice himself to himself to save us from…himself? I could go on for days, but it’s now time for me to do what fundamentalists hate the most…go to class and learn about the world.

Actually, all you need is an understanding of the science of genetics, geology and archeology.  Combine that with the stated genealogy lines that are so often stated within the Bible and you can disprove almost the entirety of Genesis.

If you know history, you can disprove the Jesus character because you cannot find a birthdate for that character that fits within history.

I say go for it because scientists of those fields or anyone yet for that matter has not been able to prove anything in the bible is not accurate. Every time they try, they prove the bible to be true. Again i say go for it. The bible can stand on its own and God certainly can. Give it an earnest try.

You should probably not overlook the comment given above this one.  Though that one might actually be a tough read, so I bet you will simply choose to overlook the post that actually gives you an “earnest try”.

I think people on both sides of the issue are afraid to say “I don’t know.” Well–I don’t know if god exists or if the bible is true or not, and I’m not going to spend my life trying to figure it all out. Not knowing things apparently scares the crap out of people so they feel they have to choose a side. I just don’t know! There, I said it. :)

Thats like saying im not going to find out if i have cancer or not. Arent those pretty big consequences if you do… or if you are wrong and God really is who the bible says He is??? Seems like its worth checking out… whats the worst that could happen if you earnestly started researching?

Sorry but I do know as many who study history and science do in fact know. If you scroll down you’ll see that i know. If you go to a book store a crack a text book or go to college you’ll find people who do know. What you are confused over is YOU don’t know.

    1) Like in the Illiad and Odyssey, Greece, Athens, Corinth and many other locations are named but that does not prove that Zeus, Hercules, and Achilles existed. You can not prove that which is unprovable but because something is unprovable does not make it so. This is called logic.
    2) Jesus never existed, why? The Buddha predates Jesus by 800 years. He was a wealthy man who realized the error in society and ultimately wandered the desert for 40 days and nights, sat under a tree and was tempted by demons. He was betrayed by a follower and murdered. Mythras (also predating Jesus but local) was the son of a God, performed miracles, and was murdered betrayed by a follower, Mythras was once named Perseus who was the founder of Persia. I can’t convince you Perseus, who killed Medusa didn’t exist but Adonis (meaning lord as in Anno Dominae) was the son of god, had a cult, promised heaven, was betrayed by his follower, buried in a tomb and resurrected 7 days later. In Greece, every Easter a region of the country celebrates the resurrection of Adonis (Lord). Jesus (a name that did not exist 2000 years ago) is an amalgam of various myths brought about by Roman trade routes. I can go on, for instance Athena’s the virgin goddess born of a virgin birth’s last cult was in Nazareth at the same time another famous virgin birth also born a virgin birth took place. Again the argument is that a claim is being made without proof and being argued that absence of proof is in itself proof. I can not disprove Santa Clause, Zeus, Odin, or Big Foot but logic, when used, can find enough support to find better answers then the logic in this picture.
    3) Prove one event in the Bible never took place. For this you need an education. 1) the flood never took place. It is ludicrous to believe it did. There is no evidence for it as we use exact dating techniques such as dendocronology, potassium dating, radio carbon dating, the earth magnetic poles, among many other absolute and relative dating techniques to show how the earth has been affected by environment. You see, the earth, all fossils, and everything that has ever died and been left behind gives of radioactivity as it decays. That decay rate is standard and constant. Using the rate of decay we measure how long an object has been on the earth. We use tree rings which would show any event such as a fire, drought, or flood. We use geological evidence to support findings that areas such as the grand canyon made of specific mineral deposits can only occur over a certain given time and  under certain conditions. The earth displays no natural record of any environmental conditions fitting a flood BUT ancient Greece does have a myth that Zeus flooded the planet murdering the first inhabitants of the planet he deemed sinners as to the Babylonians in the story of Gilgamesh which both predated Judaism by 500 years or more.
Another event is the crucifixion as it was NOT a death sentence but torture. That Pontius was so fond of it they did not have crosses due to lumbar shortages but instead would have vast rows of posts stuck in the ground and a beam would be attached to the post for the prisoner then after 3 days if they survived they were let free. Here is a man who is so important that not one single Roman record has been found. Not one person wrote about Jesus until 100 years after his death in a time when record keeping was an absolute to the Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians.
The Jews were never slaves in Egypt. Egypt costume had an indentured servitude. We have records of all the slaves and how they were managed including the houses they lived in. They were made to work for several years, fed, clothed, and families looked after then after five or so years they were let go. No where is there any record, in one of the most advanced societies of the time, is there any mention that Jews were slaves or that a man named Moses interacted let alone allowed for the murder of thousands of Egyptian children thus committing mas infanticide. The Egyptians would have been set back by this and surely someone would have documented it. There was never a large population of Jews found to have ever historically lived in Egypt, not a single artifact…nothing. There for there was no Exodus.
ALSO, when Jesus was born, and Mary and Joseph (who against culture and tradition and strict law hadn’t had sex? except they did…jesus’ brother james..also a European name) fled from King Herod they site the names of a Roman leader and another king (I’m sorry you bible people may know but off the top of my head it escapes me) well, those three individuals never lived at the same time. That is another example of something in the bible that didn’t happen.

Perhaps their is a deity responsible for string theory, super novas, planets that are exactly the same size as earth and may support life 600 light years from now and perhaps on a planet such as ours they are having the same discussion but your BIBLE is wrong. It is a hateful book that supports killing Babies, selling women, genital mutilation, and slavery (all can be found in Leviticus and Romans…the same stories used to keep homosexuals from enjoying equal rights and you can say Render unto Cesar all you like but all that tells me is if a Christian didn’t have to deal with pesky govt laws slavery would be fine, after all that was what the South said in support of going into the Civil War. God. God ordered the death of babies. Babies who had no crime, no sin, nothing to do with their children and if you take one portion of the Bible as truth it must all be truth. Picking and choosing means you don’t believe but that you are too scared to learn about biology and the cosmos. We see how far the rest of the universe is from us, we see how fast the objects move away, and through MATH we can rewind and see just how long it would have taken for those objects to get out there. The bible doesn’t discuss planets in other galaxies. The bible doesn’t discuss abortion, birth control, or evolution. The bible doesn’t discuss dinosaurs or ice ages and for those who believe the earth is 6,000 to 10,000 years old you are actually quoting the calculations of a very nasty man who lived during the 1500′s or otherwise known as the Dark Ages.

Atheists do not have to Disprove god anymore then we have to disprove Zeus. The Bible says, NO Gods Before Me which means there are other gods but you don’t believe in them as anything but myth. Why? Atheists do not have to disprove because we aren’t making a claim that something we can not see exists or something happened the way it is spelled out in a book written during the NEOLITHIC. If god did exist I wonder why he only talked to men who were alone and then dictated the rights of women and urged war on neighboring tribes. Why didn’t god speak to a more advanced civilization such as the Chinese and Japanese who were so far beyond middle eastern pastoral desert folk that at least their may have been better records. If today God told you to take your child to be offered up as Abraham did would you? If your spouse told you God spoke to them and told them they had to stab your child to death would you believe in god or tell him to piss off? What if God stood before you and picked your child from the crowd and was going to stab your son to death? Would you follow a deity who is so plainly without morals? God appeared to one group of Hebrews and they had an unpopular theology that Constantine eventually took upon himself to mandate for Rome for many fiancial reasons. Over the years the Roman and Greek Churches edited, hid, and destroyed portions of the bible they deemed heretical to their control. The Bible you learned is the Bible very powerful men wanted you to read, not even the original.

Odysseus never existed but Ithaca does. Prove to me Odysseus never existed. Prove to me the Cyclops he escaped from never existed. Prove to me he didn’t travel to HADES (HELL) and didn’t encounter the lord of the underworld. You can’t. It’s unprovable but these were the basis of a great long tradition of not just stories be religious practices as you can visit the houses of worship to Zeus, Athena, and Apollo. The problem with believers is you use what you can’t prove to push upon the rights of Americans when the founding fathers clearly stressed no religion should be involved in govt. James Madison wrote that no clergy should ever be in the military. Ben Franklin was an atheist. Thomas Jefferson removed all supernatural events from the Bible. Not one founding father had a priest with them as they died. Their literature is anti christians as few of them were other then Calvanist and Quakers and that is on paper alone. Many were deists who were inspired by Thomas Paine. In God We Trust was added during World War 2 for moral. Hell, Abraham Lincoln said, “The Bible is Not my book” because he was an agnostic. And yet, you book banning, prejudiced, hater mongers use Jesus, the ultimate pacifist, to murder abortion doctors, ban the rights of American in a Republic not a theocracy, and still degrade women (and why women don’t see a bunch of spiritual leaders, mostly men, dictating how they should use their bodies as anything but offensive is beyond me) and as you clearly don’t know what science is; a Five Step Method used to strictly test a hypothesis into creating a working Theory (or as close to a fact as science permits since science never claims absolute facts since we are always looking for better answers and better ideas rather then old absolutes with no new information) you don’t understand why Creationism can not be tested, has never been tested, just lies and bullshit to make the Bible sound legit.

Finally, if everyone who believed that their religion was correct could stop to think about why then are there so many (and don’t say the evil demon man living in the earths core) off them? If God was real why hasn’t he come back? Why did he only talk to 1 or 2 individuals who offered no proof just as Joseph Smith, an illiterate con man who claimed the dead could tell him where gold was located in up state NY. That he was the divine messenger (which meant to Mormons god got it wrong the first time) and as he translated in secrecy, any who spied on him would die! Now, on that mans word alone there is a religion financially responsible for trying to stop Gays from having their constitutional right.

We do not live in a christian state. The pilgrims came seeking financial freedom with slaves under their arms. They wanted to do business on Saturdays and charge usury laws that the Protestant Church in England would not allow. The Mayflower Contract was a business comapnay not a church or religion. Until you learn science, history, or even gain a glimmer of education the only thing people like the one in this picture will ever understand is a pathetic, sad, and uninspiring life in which they bow down before a master in fear of going to hell. That alone is the most selfish reason to accept god. Fear of being punished even though jesus died so I wouldn’t have and though I never asked him too, if I don’t accept him i will suffer for no crimes a fate worse then he supposedly did because God didn’t get attention from me?
Your book is false. Your beliefs are childish. Your world view is wrong. you may have a right to believe what you want just as many believe the moon landing was false, the loch ness monster is real,or that  magic underwear may save them. You can believe but that doesn’t make you right or valid or have a good point. Your beliefs are sick and hateful. your book is sad and pathetic and I am tired of the religious being given respect out of fear of stepping on their toes. Screw that. You claim god exists? Prove it. i can prove the evolution of the eye. I can prove the formation of the Universe and resent physics even offers a very plausible “what came before” answer if you only decided that the Universe and life are more beautiful and wondrous then a god creating it all in 6 days and being omnipotent yet still needing to take a break on the 7th with no answer what he did on the 8th.

Finally, the 4th law of thermodynamics only applies to a closed system. In terms of the Universe, the Earth, and Life these systems are open and the rule does apply. This wasn’t asked but christians who hear other christians say stupid things and mistake them for being clever like to bring this up with eye. This settles the fact that a variation of the Big Bang did happen and the best part is science doesn’t have all the answers. Tomorrow we will know more and refine the theory but that doesn’t make it “just a theory” and the word you are looking for is “hypothesis” or educated guess.

If there is a god, if I am wrong, I will point out that I have no interest in a deity who my imagination is greater then, who is childish and absurd and who showed remarkable bad judgment in his messengers and lack of any appearance in our lives. I will condemn him for being a foolish hater and I shall tell him that as he created multiple galaxies and multiple universes that if he is at all like the writers of the Bible say, then shame on him for not loving anything enough but to have temper tantrums and insist on love or punishment. And for those of you who believe not in a higher power but a biblical deity from a book written at the same time as the Illiad, then I shame on your for stunting America and allowing the Chinese and the rest of the world pass us by just so you can have your personal beliefs be unchallenged.

Finally, once again, you say god is real. I say prove it. For everything in nature that exists science can prove but you can not prove a single word of historical evidence in the Bible.

I am sure someone will be very Jesus like and condemn me to hell and fire and death but as an atheist I truly would never do that. Jesus wouldn’t have either. He’d have said not to judge and to love your neighbor not just neighbors like yourself but I’ve yet to meet that Christian and the only one I can think of is Martin Luther King Jr and it was a White Christian who shot him to death.

The extreme lack of proper grammar in this article just turned me off. If you want to sound intelligent, then write intelligently. If you do not have the proper education to write intelligently, hire someone that can proof-read your writings.

Really? You are a dunce. His grammar….Read the post then say something negating it, not commenting on something as irrelevant as grammar. Great points made in the post. I’m sure no one is reading your reply due to the lack of a capital letter in your username. What are you, 15? I can’t imagine anyone you come in contact with actually enjoying your company. Refrain from telling me how awesome you are at everything and the exact angle you cock your Monster Energy hat, I won’t bother reading it. Just letting you know that you are a complete moron and the grammatical content of a post has nothing to do with the facts it contains.

On to other points, it seems to me that Bible believers are always looking for some kind of proof that their god doesn’t exist. Fine, we don’t have any. I’m not going to even say that I don’t believe….well, that’s a lie, I don’t believe. But for the sake of argument, I would like to ask a few questions and have an actual believer and follower of the “Word of God” answer these questions.
-Does God not clearly state in the Bible that his followers are to kill those that are not? That you are to kill blasphemers? Or will you argue that it is written only for the Jews?
-Was Jesus not a Jew that then gave his own interpretations of the word of God? If so, do you worship Jesus or God? They are clearly not one and the same. Which one?
-Is the God that the Jews worship different than your God? If so, how many Gods are there?
-How do you know you picked the right God? What proof is there that the Christian God is the one, not a Greek or Egyptian god, who by rights, was around long before and has had not one shred of evidence prove that they didn’t exist?
-What piece of proof is there that Jesus was the messiah? Meaning, what makes you believe that Jesus was “the guy” and anyone else claiming to be is not.
-Aside from evidence all around us, what proof is there of God? I want something that science cannot recreate and make happen without God’s interaction.
-Why does God only heal those that have access to proper medical care? Why won’t he cure aids?
-Why does God find it more important to allow people that happened to have an education, business sense or otherwise favorable skill, to eat food? Why will he not bless defenseless children to do the same?
-Why does God allow certain lizards and crustaceans to regrow limbs but not we? Why can we pray for a cancer treatment at THE HOSPITAL to work, and when it does, somehow God made it so, not the doctors. But we cannot pray to that same God, who can make you win the lottery, a title fight or a sporting event, to regrow an arm.
-If you pray to God for your favorite team to win a game, let’s say the Dallas Cowboys on any given Sunday, and they beat the Cleveland Browns, does that mean your prayer worked? Does that mean God hates the Browns and everyone that prayed for them?
-If you pray for your child to recover from heart surgery and they do not, why is that God’s will? Why did God need to take your child from you but he made sure your wife’s pants fit 2 years before that?
-Is there a limit to the amount of prayers that God will give you? Why won’t he transport money under your bed?
-Where are the miracles? It seemed that the God in the Bible(s) had an awful lot of interaction with humans, where is he now? Why is it that in an age where we just happen to be able to record evidence in many different ways there is none of God?

I’m just curious, not being a wise-guy, just wondering about some of this information. Feel free to answer and discuss, I would appreciate it.

    You can’t prove a negative.
The burden of proof is on the one who makes the claim.
    Prove that those places existed.
    Prove that those things happened.
prove that those characters were not just fiction.

Scholars call Jesus, by 2 separate and distinct names. One is Jesus Christ, Christ being the Greek word for Messiah or Savior, usually reserved for his sheeple. Then you have Jesus of Nazareth, mostly just stating his homeland or town. The funny thing is, the city of Nazareth was not created by YHWH until 350 C.E. (That is Common Era for you bible beaters, 330 years after the fictional character Jesus was nailed to some wood). The oldest thing that has been found from the area of Nazareth dates to 350 C.E. and it is 11 bits of pottery.
So… It is settled. We are All Africans! All Hail Darwin!

Let’s face it, there is no reliable proof that ANY god exists.  Is it possible?  Perhaps.  However, until reliable proof is presented, the idea of creation is nothing more than a well crafted myth. I’ve always wondered why people spend so much time arguing for or against it.  Why not spend what time we have enjoying life, regardless of how it came to be??

    • Paul O'Flaherty April 24, 2012 at 4:44 pm - Reply

The reason we spend so much time arguing against it is because those who believe insist on shoving it down our throats and crafting laws, and corrupting education in order to make us all believe what they do.

  10. lolucrazy June 8, 2012 at 9:07 pm - Reply

pretty simple. the burden of proof is on the person making the claim. to state an absurd assertion such as “prove the bible is false” is like making a claim that we were all born from a rainbow unicorn 5 million years ago and to disprove that. it is not the audience that needs to prove it, but the person making the assertion in the first place. poorly played my friend.

As stated by Dr. Bart Ehrman, Professor of religious studies at the University of North Caroline, Chapel Hill, NC said, “In the entire first Christian century, Jesus is not mentioned by a single Greek or Roman scholar, politician, philosopher, or poet. His name never appears in a single inscription, and it is never found in a single piece of private correspondence. Zero! Zip references!”

    Jesus never existed,

There is not one contemporary account of any jesus.  Isn’t it strange that the Romans, who kept such good records otherwise, made no mention of any jesus?

Jesus is someone who was supposed to have had great effect socially, politically, religiously, and performed several miracles.  Then there was the very public trial and execution.  But not one word, either officially, or in surviving private correspondence has appeared.

The first mention of any jesus is in the gospel of Mark, written from 40 to 110 years, depending upon which biblical “scholar” you believe, after the “facts”.

The rest of the babble is equally false. Naming historic events or places, proves nothing. For example:

On the 11th of September, 2001, two commercial aircraft flew into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, killing thousands.

Some people believe that this was an act of terrorism by an Islamic fundamentalist organization.

It was really the power of my god (he who must not be named) directing those planes to warn the people of the USA and the world to abandon their wicked ways and praise the only true god.

The first sentence is unquestionable historic fact. The last sentence is a delusional lie but is impossible to prove to be false. The “truth” of all “holy books” is based upon this same technique.

    @Angelo
actually science is proving itself wrong if you do some research evolutionist atheist paleontologist etc keep on finding out that their theory are less and less possible
and yet they haven’t found even one inaccurate thing in the bible
The bible contains scientific facts that were thousands of years ahead of their time that we are even now learning

We have found sites where the Bible had said they would be located noahs arch is one of hundreds of examples
    Look it up

The old testemant had made prophecies that all came true and are eve coming true today

We see all these things happening but we turn our heads and act like it never happened and word doesn’t get around

    Please do research
i will not continue to defend my argument for others who want to debate because a lot of what i would say would be already stated in the series called “The Truth Project” i know its expensive but if you really believe in atheism then when you die it won’t matter what you did on earth because your asleep and cant think or process information so nothing matters of what you did when you where on earth because to you it never happened which this has been shown to be wrong because of people who die and come back to life (NDE) because they all have vivid views of what happened when they died what happened and
a description of heaven or hell which correspond with the Bible even with atheist who have not ever read the bible or people of other religions

So watch this video “The Truth Project”
After all what is more important the Truth of what will happen when you die and where you will spend eternity or what your going to do in the next 20 minutes

Do you really want to risk spending ETERNITY in hell just because you were to greedy to spend 100$
it’s you alls choice not mine

I look at it this way…I see the earth, I see the universe out in space, and even though we can explain some of the processes of life through science and other observational methods, there is still questions that all of us must ask ourselves. Namely how did all this come to exist in the first place, how is it sustained and how did it all start beyond the big bang theory and why is it all here to start with? It just seems there has to be more to our existence than simply the cycle of here today and gone tomorrow. Until we really discover if we ever can the truth to these questions with absolute certainty and proof of that certainty, it leaves open to speculation and reason why all this is here to begin with. As to the Bible there is no real evidence based on hard facts such as old recorded events such as the Roman scrolls that recorded many things as they happened, but its best to rely on asking your own questions as I have provided above that I ask myself and try to make some sense of all this existence as best as we can.

I’m going to have my say. Check this out. BTW, I am not an athiest or a christian.. Athiest are morons if they dont believe that some powerful being or maybe beings created all this bcuz the world is too complex to just be made by something natural and coincidental like the big bang. Think about it, the world is a PERFECT CIRCLE. You think that is a coincidence? Look how complex and well-designed and constructed EVERYTHING is. It’s OBVIOUSLY created by some supernaturally genius and powerful being(s). DUH! So yes, it’s slightly possible that Yahweh created it. But check this out. These are some of the reasons why I think it retarded to believe in Yahweh/Jesus and why I believe it’s just another badly made story of a god designed by some culture. It’s a fairy tale:

1 – Adam and Eve supposedly populated this earth, right? So if Adam and Eve are just two people, how the heck could all these races have come from just them. It’s impossible and most likely never happened. All the races in the world can’t come from just two people. Duh! Christians are so annoying. I hate stupid people. This world is full of idiots. Sorry

2 – Talking snakes? Where are all the “talking animals” now? Sounds like a made up story, doesn’t it?

3 – Check this out. So God created Adam and Eve and immediately they could talk? They never had to learn words before they could talk? Impossible. It’s extremely stupid to believe this. When babies are born. They dont just come out knowing every word in the dictionary. How annoying. IT”S A MADE UP STORY!

4 – So Adam and Eve got kicked out of The Garden of Eden and the only thing keeping them out is supposedly an angel with a flaming sword. That would obviously mean that this is the only thing keeping anybody out of the garden is this angel. So where is this angel now and where is the garden. If the bible were true, They would still be here. Am I wrong?

5 – The way that you know Jesus and the disciples were fake is that the 4 above reasons show you why Adam and Eve are obviously a fictional story.and Jesus and his disciples say that Adam and Eve were here. The mention things like the second Adam or the blood of Abel. Fake!

6 – Another thing. The bible says that God created the world from scratch. So what he says goes, right? And he supposedly loves us more than our own parents. So your telling me that God couldn’t have just forgiven Adam and Eve and maybe made some fruit that cleansed them from sin? They were deceived for goodness sake. Rather, he condemns us all to death. Trillions and trillions of people will die harshly now because God couldn’t forgive us for being human and making a mistake. And then, to save us from sin he sends his only son to be tortured and killed for atonement, when all he really has to do is forgive us? But instead, you moronically put your son through the worst pain of his life for nothing? This proves that if Yahweh is real, he is just a moron with powers.

7 – So all Yahweh has to do is kill Satan. A creation he made and can destroy with just a thought, and then nobody would be deceived and manipulated and have to BURN IN HELL FOR *ETERNITY*. Yet for his pleasure, he toys with our eternal souls and tests us and puts our very souls on the line. This is evil and wouldnt be done by someone who really loved us. This is all a game to him. He’s playing with our eternal souls. BASTARD!!!! And most of the people that would burn in hell aren’t going because they were defiant even after knowing God is real. No one knows if God is real (we are trying, God. Have mercy, you evil moron). Its because they are only human and simply couldnt believe in such an unbelievable story. They made a mistake and now they will burn in hell for all ETERNITY. In Revelations, it says that all UNBELIEVERS will go to hell.

8 – OK, one more (I have more than this). Job. In the book of Job, there is a dialogue between Satan and God (Note that God could have easily just destroyed Satan at that moment and the world would live happily ever after). How could a man have possibly witnessed this dialogue, which seems to have taken place in like heaven or something? This is obviously a story written by some human.

Well hopefully this brings some people to their senses. If your truly smart as you probably think you are, than it is easy to see the bible is most likely false. They seriously don’t even know for a fact who wrote all that stuff. Oh yeah, and you seriously think Noah and all the people on the boat populated this earth? Probably never happened.

I couldn’t bring myself to read your entire post because of your daft opening statement. Seriously, claiming that all atheists are morons because the earth is a perfect circle?

A circle (two dimensional) is a shape of Euclidean geometry. It consists of the set of points that are equidistant from a single point, the center. The distance between any such points and the center is called the circle’s radius. However, a sphere (three dimensional) is a perfectly round geometric object such as a round ball.

The earth is NOT a perfect sphere. It is actually more pear shaped, bulging at the equator and flattening at the poles. (JFGI)

As for the rest of your comment, well, TL;DR. Your opening statement killed it.

You have the same problem as all other Atheists. As soon as you hear something you don’t like you just shoot it down without even giving it another chance.

Everybody would be mutated if the bible were real. If the only people left were Noah, his wife, his sons, and his sons’ wives then everybody would be mutated if you happen to know basic genetics.
